The Senior Advertising Specialist reports to the Director of Digital Marketing Advertising and responsibilities include managing advertising and graphic design projects and vendors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

? Coordinates and maintains the creative identity for the MAA brand with both offline and online graphic design projects end-to-end by managing layouts, approval processes and final assets (signage, advertising, etc.).

? Manages promotional materials development and approval process in coordination with divisional sales and marketing leaders.

? Serves as the primary point of contact for photography and video vendors. Works with division operations management to coordinate timelines, pre-production and on-site management of photo shoots, proof selection, post-production/revision process and submission of final photographs to go live on company website and Internet Listing Service (ILS) partners (e.g., Zillow).

? Manages and recommends online sales and marketing resources via marketing toolkit (leasing office collateral, promotional items, and business cards, etc.) for properties. Works with a third-party vendor and ensures continual enhancements to optimize user experience based on feedback from division sales and operations management.

? Codes and submits all applicable vendor invoices accurately and timely for approval and payment processing.

? Writes copy that aligns with the tone and voice of the company brand for company website and property pages as well as paid and social media campaigns.

? Manages organic social media communities (e.g., Facebook, Instagram) with an agency partner and coordinates internally with various stakeholders on content development.

? Designs, writes and publishes a monthly newsletter template and resident calendar for properties to leverage for resident relations.

? Uses Photoshop and other software applications to facilitate creative updates for online and offline creative materials as needed.

? Performs other related duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business.

Required Qualifications

? Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field required.

? 3-5 years of marketing, graphic design project management and copy writing required.

? Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, InDesign, and/or Photoshop applications required.

Preferred Qualifications

? Master's degree in marketing or a related field preferred.

? Customer relationship management skills and responsiveness to internal and external stakeholders and/or vendors

? Critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, creativity and flexibility to develop and implement viable solutions.

? Efficient and effective organizational skills to coordinate multiple projects, prioritize tasks and meet daily demands and deadlines

? Project management skills to efficiently coordinate assigned projects with internal stakeholders and vendors during the project lifecycle

? Knowledge of marketing principles and practices

? Knowledge of advertising tools, practices and applications

? Graphic design and desktop publishing skills with applications such as Microsoft Publisher, Adobe Creative Cloud programs, and Photoshop

? Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
