The Database Assistant's primary role is to assist in the maintenance of an accurate and up-to-date database system for the Government and External Relations division and support the fundraising team in other data systems.

Location: 305 7 th Ave, 9 th Floor, New York, NY 10001
Hours: 35 Hours/Week; Non-Exempt
? Process and enter all gifts into The Raiser's Edge (RE).
? Responsible for all RE event registration entry.
? Generate and manage gift acknowledgements.
? Generate RE reports.
? Assist with data-cleaning tasks and various RE data entry.
? Provide training and technical assistance for RE users.
? Help create procedures, tip sheets, and training documents for GER staff on RE responsibilities.
? Assist with other technical tasks (e.g., intranet).
? Perform special project work as needed.
? Assist as needed with other Department functions, including but not limited to: prospect research, regular. correspondence and assembly of funding applications for government and foundation submission.
? Attend regular meetings as required.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience with fundraising database(s) required, preferably Raiser's Edge or Salesforce preferred.
- Strong skills with Microsoft especially Word, Excel and Outlook required.
- Must be energetic, self-motivated, detail oriented with strong interpersonal and writing skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have a commitment to work from a strengths-based and/or youth development perspective.
