B-Reel New York is looking for a creative director to join the team here in our new digs in Dumbo. We develop a broad range of creative work across modern and emerging platforms. It ranges from web design and mobile apps to brand design and branded content and experiences. We work with mixed reality, film, animation and whatever we can dream up for memorable human experiences. 

Our team is sleek and agile, and our creatives work in a highly collaborative environment. We are looking to anchor the branded comms and experiences side of our business with a confident, creative individual who can lead writers, art directors, designers and producers.

The role does not require previous CD experience, though it does require previous experience as an Art Director or ACD. What we do want is a strong conceptual thinker with a firm grasp of digital, social and relevant cultural channels, as well as remarkable execution of film and product vision. We welcome the optimism to see opportunity even when it’s buried in the sand. We support the conviction to engage clients and sell them on the things that might just scare them. And we are building significant relationships, which means we must nail the projects while keeping an eye on the long term.  

As a CD here, you will not carry the full conceptual burden. Rather, we are looking for that keen perception of knowing when to solve, and when to empower the very talented team around you and clear the road for them.


  • Effective, creative leadership of conceptual, comms driven side of business
  • Managing creative team, as well as wider team including strategy and production
  • Establishing and maintaining client relationships across wide range from technology to fashion and entertainment
  • Maintaining individual knowledge of tech and social innovations to inform industry-leading work
  • Setting examples of behavior and craft for younger and talented creatives.
  • Expressing a distinct creative POV both within the team and the work
  • Execute at a world class level
