Job Description
Entry-level sales professional who is dynamic and thrives on
looking forward and exceeding goals. As an individual contributor,
you will be focused on selling, prospecting, calling and emailing
to generate new business. You must be motivated and thrive in a
goal-oriented environment.
A.Revenue Development: Generate new advertising revenue by
consistently prospecting and meeting defined activity and sales

B.Goals and Activity: Proactively contact new-to-company prospects
to generate new streams of ACBJ revenue. Quickly qualify genuine
opportunities and move these to the next stage of the sales process
or move on in cases where no worthwhile opportunity exists. Account
retention and management. Maintain an active schedule of
prospecting calls.

C.Product Knowledge/Market Intelligence: Clearly express the value
proposition and benefits of the Business Journals products and
solutions and use this knowledge to ensure that solutions address
clear business needs for the client.

D.Salesforce: Manage sales pipeline in Salesforce to ensure
accurate recording of prospecting activity, conversion success, and
active sales opportunities at each stage of the sales process as
well as future new business revenue.

E.Professional Development & Other: The New Business Development
Representative is expected to participate in all training offered
by the Business Journal and ACBJ and should be prepared to assist
with any other task or project assigned.
A.Ability to work alone and as part of a team
B.Excellent presentation, verbal and written skills
C.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
D.Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and
E.BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
F. Valid drivers license
