NorthStar Memorial Group is seeking an Online Marketing Analyst for our Home Office in Galleria area of Houston, TX. This position will be responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing the performance of NorthStar Memorial Group's web properties and campaigns. The Analyst will also help develop new websites and work in the day-to-day initiatives for NSMG. The successful candidate must be a team player and be able to collaborate with various marketing team members and partners to assist in developing cohesive multi-channel marketing communications strategies and initiatives.


  • Develops and implements tracking and reporting across SEO, SEM, CRO (conversion rate optimization), user experience and website behavior
  • Analyzes digital channels and campaigns to provide strategic recommendations on improvements and synergies across digital channels
  • Works with strategic partners to structure SEO program and by executing client-side changes
  • Provides technical expertise to improve SEO, SEM and user experience
  • Responsible for Google Analytics, directory listing management, and digital reporting tools
  • Works closely on SEM and website development
  • Build and support analytic metrics to show month-to-month trends and assist locations in understanding the key values
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and development of websites, applications and other web-based initiatives
  • Assist in developing marketing initiatives to increase website traffic, improve conversion rates, and generate leads
  • Monitor effective use of digital marketing budgets across all locations
  • Work closely with developers throughout the development and implementation of websites
  • Conduct research and analyze online competitors.
  • Collaborate with SEO partners about Google updates, market trends and analyses web marketing landscape.
  • Communicate directly with clients to provide solutions to SEO & SEM-related questions and concerns.
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field (PR, marketing, communications, etc.) preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience analyzing, managing and reporting on PPC and SEO campaigns using Google & Bing PPC Platforms, Google Analytics & Webmaster Tools
  • Experience in Google Search Console and in managing content in WordPress
  • Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Social media savvy - Knowledge of Social Media Organic Rankings and its effect on SEO Strategies
  • Extensive Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization
  • Detail oriented and highly analytical
  • Strong Communication skills are needed to effectively communicate among clients, partners, managers and stakeholders.
