Job Summary

As the Alliance Partner Marketing Manager you are responsible for implementing and driving the development of strategic marketing programs with strategic technology alliance partners. You interact directly with Alliance leadership and business development teams; develop joint business ventures; and define and implement joint awareness and demand generation programs. A strong understanding of NetApp's Product and Service offerings, relationship management skills, and experience marketing in a high-technology, dynamic environment is crucial to your success.

Essential Functions:

* Work directly with Alliance partners in defining and developing joint marketing programs and events.
* Provide on-going management of the programs, contracts and agreements.
* Provide solution information, keep partner teams up to date on joint solution enhancements and promotional events, and communicate changes to new product deliverables.
* Evaluate program impact and efficacy trends and provide analysis and recommendations to management.
* Build awareness through communication of the strategic benefits of the programs.
* Perform financial analyses, forecasting and studies associated with joint marketing programs for decision support.
* Monitor programs for sales impact and overall success.
* Ensure ongoing engagement, support pipeline growth and partner satisfaction.
* As a Senior Partner Marketing Manager you provide leadership and support to less senior members of the team to achieve team goals and initiatives.

Job Requirements


* Ability to work in and often lead cross-functional, cross-company teams to develop multi-touch marketing strategies and execution plans
* Experience managing complex budgets and multiple vendors
* Experience with digital marketing with proven results tied to business outcomes
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills; presentation, customer service, business, and negotiation skills.
* Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
* High energy with the capability to multi-task in a dynamic organization.
* Ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
* Strong understanding of NetApp's products and services technologies/concepts in a distributed environment.

Responsibility and Interaction:


* The tasks this individual is responsible for are often unstructured, have wide implications and there are multiple outcomes.
* Development of integrated marketing plans including NetApp and vendor led digital and face to face programs
* This individual will apply broad expertise and NetApp solution knowledge in solving problems that are unique and extremely complex given time, budget and resource constraints.
* Demonstrate leadership and vision in determining and driving strategy decisions.


* This individual must work effectively from Staff to Vice President level employees within the function, across functions and with external parties.
* Limited supervision is provided, as this individual can operate, drive results, and set priorities independently.
* The ideal candidate will be a proactive contributor and subject matter expert.
* To be successful, this individual must demonstrate favorable results through leadership and influencing multiple individuals and groups.


* A minimum of 12 years of experience is required.
* A Bachelor of Arts of Science Degree is required, or equivalent experience.
* Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, complex marketing plans.
