Social Strategy Manager

Location: Granville, OH

Reports to: Director of Corporate Marketing



Purpose of the Social Strategy Manager


The Social Strategy Manager will be responsible for the development, execution and optimization of all social media and digital content strategies, while supporting Consultants and their locations, collaborating with all teams of the marketing department to create an integrated marketing strategy for client acquisition, upsell and retention for consultants through strategic marketing tools.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the brand ambassador for RevLocal online
  • Owner of all content strategy
  • Responsible for company's internal organization of content
  • Manage the distribution of content across all channels i.e. email, website, social, media
  • Act as a partner with Design, Campaigns and Sales Support teams
  • Social media owner including planning and execution of all activities on all social channels
  • Edit content pushed on social channels
  • Work closely with the marketing teams to align social with all other marketing initiatives
  • Track analyze and act on all Social Media performance and work to optimize all channels
  • Stay updated on industry trends and adjust the content strategy as needed
  • Assist with copy writing and ensure SEO is optimized on site at all times
  • Create a strategy to share content and engage prospects in consultant individual locations
  • Manage direct reports


Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Behaviors:
  • Ability to full embrace the RevLocal brand
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing
  • Writing experience required
  • Highly collaborative and comfortable working with cross functional teams
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, dynamic environment with changing priorities and aggressive deadlines
  • Excellent project management skills; ability to multi-task and effectively resolve conflicting priorities
  • Extensive understanding of social media marketing
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Highly organized - prioritizes and plans work activities; uses time efficiently; sets goals and objectives;


Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or other related field preferred
  • 2+ year related work experience
  • Experience managing direct reports


Preferences:
  • Google Adwords Certification is a plus
  • Facebook Certification is a plus
  • Knowledge of Local Search, Paid Advertising and Social Content Strategies
