Located at Midway Airport in Chicago, the
Marketing Manager will assist and support the Director of Marketing
in the planning, development and execution of a comprehensive
marketing and promotions program for concessions at Midway Airport,
including working closely with airport stakeholders, brands,
partners and the City of Chicago. The position uses multiple
media platforms (print, social media, web, email, video, etc.), to
drive increased revenue and passenger engagement. This role
will assist in the development and implementation of events,
content development, marketing strategies, design and print
oversight, and other marketing, communications and branding needs.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently
and in team environments. This position will report to the
Director of Marketing and Promotions.
Key Responsibilities Include:

Develops and executes the annual marketing
plan and program to maximize sales, brand awareness and strategic
business objectives.
Work with the Director of Marketing to
develop, plan, integrate and execute marketing and promotion
tactics to support Midway concessions wide marketing plans to
include: events, content development, social media, partner and
tenant support, public relations, etc.
Coordinate execution and follow up for events
aligned to marketing plans for Midway Partnership concessions; this
includes creating event plans, timelines, supporting/hosting weekly
preparation calls, managing print material intake and design,
ordering of event materials and coordinating event
Work in collaboration with the Director of
Marketing to effectively create event-planning and briefing
documents for various leadership and stakeholders.
Evaluate event performance, post event ROI
tracking and wrap up reports and communicate learning to relevant
Support coordination of all event materials
ensuring required branding and set-up is considered and executed
for all events.
Act as a Midway Partnership brand ambassador
to ensure brand is implemented in both design and messaging of
branded environments; work with various stakeholders to
consistently implement signage, marketing materials, apparel,
premiums, working directly with partnership stakeholders, vendors,
design firms, architects and other vendors.
Manage relationships with the print, signage,
copywriters and other vendors needed to execute projects and

You have at least 4+ years of experience in
marketing with a demonstrated ability to coordinate and execute on
the implementation of marketing and communications programs. Strong
project management experience is a requirement. You are also able
to shift seamlessly between planning for and hands on delivery of
marketing and communications projects in a tight deadline
environment. Your professional experience is supplemented by a
Bachelors' degree in Business Administration, Marketing or another
related field from an accredited university. You are a
collaborative team play who also enjoys working independently and
are comfortable working in a team setting with a diverse set of
stakeholders. Additionally, you have:

a preference for working with an

demonstrated business acumen coupled with
strategic, analytical and creative skills
an ability to manage multiple projects, while
staying on budget and delivering on time without compromising
knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Power
Point, Excel, Word), enewsletter platforms (preferably Mailchimp),
WordPress CMS, and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram,
Twitter, LinkedIn)
