Director, Content Strategy

Opportunity to provide strategic leadership for content development, planning and execution, overseeing all marketing and communications content initiatives, both internal and external, across all platforms and formats to optimally engage audiences and deliver on Kent State University's Strategic Roadmap. Serve as an expert in content-related channel optimization, brand consistency, segmentation, analytics, and meaningful measurement. This position reports to the Assistant Vice President, Content Strategy and Chief Content Officer.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in public relations, journalism, communications or other related field of study. Five years’ experience in multichannel content creation (publishing, journalism, etc.) including experience with creating compelling messages for different target demographics. Expertise in major business software applications (Adobe, Microsoft Office, etc.). Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree.
