Job Description

The Programmatic Platforms Account Executive at engageBDR will be responsible for establishing new integrations and growing spends with top DSP partners. An integral part of the AE’s role will be helping our DSP buyers identifying opportunities that can generate positive outcomes for the customers they represent. Strong background in programmatic sales and client services will be necessary to be successful in this role.

The ideal candidate should have a track record of exceeding revenue targets, and a deep understanding of the programmatic ecosystem, new industry initiatives as well as have a working knowledge of new emerging media types (CTV, Audio, DOOH)

The candidate will report directly to the VP of Programmatic as well as the CEO. The candidate will be required to be able to effectively communicate both internally and externally with executives and business decision makers, as well as ops personnel, engineering, finance, and supply ops.

Job Functions

  • Grow platform spend to meet and exceed goals while continuously prospecting new business
  • Develop a pipeline of prospects and nurture until deals are closed. Work closely with business and tech teams to create solutions suited to satisfy client’s performance needs.
  • Develop highly compelling pitches to DSP’s and trading desks, demonstrating our value.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews and ongoing direct client management and entertainment
  • Work with supply ops to identify revenue opportunities and help direct sourcing efforts.
  • Identify additional revenue opportunities within existing clients
  • Develop a strong understanding of engageBDR’s technology and media solutions, leverage this knowledge to align client’s expectations with our abilities.
  • Build and maintain close working relationships with multiple internal departments with a strong understanding for internal cross-functional communication/collaboration
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and grow your industry knowledge

Qualifications

 

  • 3+ years in sales or business development in the online industry. Relevant experience includes: publishers, ad network, SSPs, ad exchanges, DSPs and ad agencies
  • Knowledge of programmatic buying and selling including: pricing models, optimization tactics, audience trends and buying technologies
  • Proficiency in Excel with a proven ability to convey data and analysis to drive business
  • Strong presentation (Including PowerPoint) and negotiation skills
  • Flexible, start-up mindset with proven success in fast-paced environments
