Director of Communications
Austen Riggs Center

The Center specializes in the long-term treatment of psychiatric disorders and offers a completely voluntary continuum of care that includes inpatient, residential and day treatment programs.
Rated a “Best Hospital” in Psychiatry Nationwide by U.S. News & World Report, the Center continually builds on its distinguished past, helping patients develop personal competence in a completely open setting that emphasizes the individual’s capacity to face and take responsibility for his or her life — past, present and future. It nurtures patients’ strengths, fosters their social functioning and encourages family collaboration. Through research and training programs, the Austen Riggs Center educates professionals in its psychodynamic perspective, applying this learning to a broad range of psychosocial problems.
The work of the Austen Riggs Center is highly regarded and unique, and this role is an exceptional one.
