Digital Strategy Manager

MGH, a full-service marketing communications agency recognized as one of Ad Age’s 2019 Best Places to Work, is currently seeking a Digital Strategy Manager to develop and lead integrated digital media campaigns across a broad range of clients.  This position requires 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing including: SEM, shopping and display advertising. The ideal candidate will possess a strong balance of strategic thinking, outside-the-box creativity, and technical proficiency in a variety of digital platforms, as well as across multiscreen environments.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and manage online media campaigns across all digital marketing channels (SEM, shopping, display advertising etc.)
  • Present campaign recommendations, optimizations and updates to clients
  • Work with internal and external teams to ensure all online marketing efforts are effectively tracked and reportable
  • Provide insights and analysis on all KPIs and performance metrics
  • Work with client services teams to identify key opportunities with existing and prospective clients
  • Provide strategic POVs on how digital can bring the most value to an integrated campaign
  • Develop actionable insights from a wide variety of data sources and implement optimizations to improve client campaign performance
  • Maintain an active awareness on new trends and growth within the digital marketing landscape
  • Ongoing campaign management including:
    • Managing monthly budgets daily to ensure goal pacing
    • Recommending and implementing optimizations based on performance
    • Creating, implementing and scheduling ads, and monitoring performance
    • Compiling weekly/monthly reports with analysis and insights of campaign performance
    • Communicating with internal departments and clients as the specialist in paid search

Required Competencies:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with digital marketing including paid search, display, retargeting and shopping
  • Experience managing paid search campaigns inclusive of set up, bid management and optimization
  • Experience and understanding of e-commerce clients
  • Experience with Google Ads and Google Analytics required; Google Ads certification and experience with Bing Ads is a plus
  • Familiarity with SEO, social and email is a plus
  • Flexibility to evolve to new processes
  • Excellent client presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Strong math and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Effective time management and organizational skills, as well as strong attention to detail
