Responsibilities

The Bulk Industries Marketing Manager is responsible for defining the market position within the context of the overall product strategy. This means the Marketing Manager will conduct competitor analysis, market research, and work closely with the Industries, Sales, and Innovation teams to draft the strategic positioning of the product. The Marketing Manager is responsible for articulating all of the outbound activities necessary to clearly explain the benefits of those features and value to the customer and translate them into customer-facing messaging. This person will be tasked with giving product demonstrations at trade shows and webinars, delivering presentations to customers and prospects, as well as creating marketing collateral. This individual is a key member of a team responsible for bringing the product to market and driving adoption of it - including arming sales with the knowledge and tools they need to be successful; developing customer-facing presentations; updating the Web site; as well as outlining the marketing programs required for demand generation.

Principal Responsibilities:Drive the detailed market sizing, opportunity identification as well as the assessment of the customer value-creation from application perspective Help define parameters and concepts for go-to-market and business model and commercialization strategy and related launch plan

Create and drive the marketing promotional blueprint of existing PSOs, relaunches and extensionsDevelop initiatives and campaigns to successfully implement Application Growth strategies & plans

Responsible for the content and strategic side of marketing for both new and existing Application PSOs

Responsible for trade show planning and execution.

About the Role

Primary responsibility as Marketing Manager will be to deeply understand market, buyer, and user needs to help inform our product and go-to-market strategies. The Market Manager will collaborate with the product, user experience, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to grow and sell a B2B product in a dynamic, rapidly-evolving market.

Product Marketing opportunities include:

Market awareness:Research and deeply understand relevant market and technology trends impacting our businessConduct detailed competitor analysis and market research to inform strategic positioning of product to customers, partners and market influencers

Buyer landscape and persona segmentation:Be the internal expert on key buyers, how they buy, and their buying criteriaUnderstand stakeholders who influence the sales cycle and how PSOs should be positioned to them and their interests

Voice of customer:Gather and ensure voice of customer (buyer) is accurately reflected in product development process; develop insights from product metrics plus user and buyer feedback to inform user experience strategy

Product strategy:Product positioning and messaging:Own and develop clear value proposition and offering that differentiates in the market Lead the marketing launch of new products and ongoing communication of The PSOs value, and differentiationBe the voice of the product in externally-facing comms and marketing campaigns including blogs, product emails, web copy, webinars, and more

Sales & customer success enablement:Develop and maintain sales enablement tools, and externally-facing collateral (solution guides, demo scripts, competitive analysis, etc.) to support the sales processDevelop communication & tools to be used by Customer Success team to help drive adoption of new products and features

Qualifications

Requirements and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing; MBA is a plus5+ years of product marketing or product management experienceMinimum 3 years of digital marketing experience (videos, customer testimonials, and other alternatives to print ads, etc.). Strong leadership skills with the ability to relate to and influence people across all levels and functions. Proficient at translating market insights and use that information to productively fuel product and sales growth, monitor and report industry trendsExcellent communication skills, including impeccable writing and presentation skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into customer-friendly contentStrong analytical skills; demonstrated capabilities executing end-to-end quantitative and qualitative customer research and effectively identifying and interpreting key findingsExperience developing and validating positioning, category creation, messaging, and competitive segmentationSelf-driven, detail-oriented, have a strong work ethic, and are analytical in natureAble to work in an ambiguous, rapidly changing environmentApproximately 15% travel.
