AQUENT is supporting a major beauty brand (hair care) in their search for a Community Manager! This is a long-term FT Freelance position (Permalance) in NYC. MUST BE Obsessed with engagement (drive to IG, drive to posts)! The candidate should have great oral and written communication skills and is able to engage with our online community. He or she should be a real people person with great customer service skills and the ability to moderate online (and possible offline) conversations with our community.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support Pre-buzz sendouts
  • Supporting marketing with advocate search for upcoming launches
  • Influencer selection
  • Follow-up with influencers
  • Document IG content sharing by influencers
  • Strong Documentation of activations
  • Pro-influencer potentials to share with digital lead
  • Salon reach outs to share with local markets
  • Share top UGC opportunities with team

? Engage with our community and beyond to increase traffic to our Instagram page
? Reach out and find new content creators that could work with the brand on different topics such as sustainability, DIY, sensoriality, flatlays
? Build a relationship with possible Biolage pro-stylists and guide them along the journey of trying our products and creating content
? Respond to comments and customer queries in a timely manner
? Keep a high level of engagement with the Biolage Community
? Monitor and report on feedback and analyze going forward
? Liaise with Marketing and Digital to stay updated on new products and features and new events happening

Requirements
? Proven work experience as a community manager (1-3 years)
? Excellent verbal communication skills and writing skills
? Very organized, able to document everything on excel
? Should be digital savvy, ideally a micro-influencer themselves
? Hands on experience with social media management for brands
? Attention to detail and ability to multitask
? Able to track and analyze feedback
? Needs to be in the NY office 3 days a week at least
? Available 40 hours a week, including 2 hours per day in the weekend
