As a Designer, you will work closely with engineers and product managers throughout all stages of the product cycle. You are a critical thinker with a good design sense, a strong technical background, and an eye for making things better. Interaction Designers work on projects that have an impact on the web experience of millions of users. "Help to define the user model and user interface for new and existing products and features. Develop high level and/or detailed storyboards, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. Gauge the usability of new and existing products, and making constructive suggestions for change."

  • Help define the architecture, user interface, and end-to-end experience for an enterprise platform
  • Create detailed wireframes, mockups, and prototypes following a user-centered process to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Collaborate closely with, or conduct, research to validate concepts, and communicate results to the teams.
  • Work with product, developer, and content teams to come up with UX designs and prototypes
  • Communicate effectively in a UX and cross-functional team.
  • Ability to communicate conceptual ideas and design rationale effectively.
  • Take input/requirements from multiple stakeholders across different organizations.
  • Participate in regular design reviews.
  • Develop/apply general visual style and consistent interaction patterns.

  • BA/BS degree in Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial)
  • 4-5; years of relevant work experience
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Strong core interaction design skills, knowledge of the user-centered design methodologies, and a good understanding of usability
  • Fluency with visual and interaction design tools (Sketch, Principle, Invision, Illustrator etc) as well as ability to work within technical and non-technical stakeholders

- MA/MS in design or a related field or three years of relevant work experience
- Experience designing for tools, platforms, and/or enterprise products
- Good sense and understanding of visual design
- Experience collaborating with user researchers, content strategists, product managers, and engineers
