The Leader -- Marketing Program plans, implements and develops new marketing ideas for internal partners as well as clients. From working with the communications team to creative services, he/she will support the creation of advertising, promotional programs, public relations, trade shows and more to drive our market presence. He/she will be able to actualize their ideas for expanding marketing opportunities, analyzing successes and misses to gain insights for future projects. Key Purpose of the Role:


The key purpose of this role is to increase and optimise the volume and quality of leads generated by Worldpay's websites (currently Vantiv.com), and to track effectiveness through the funnel from raw lead to transacting customer. Other areas of the Digital and Marketing Ops team, the Go To Market Team, Sales and Sales Enablement are key relationships. A focus on impact (eg revenue generation) is key to the role.
  • Digital all-rounder, with direct responsibility for lead generation through biddable media (paid search and display), other biddable channels TBD, organic search
  • Validate the integrity of Worldpay business intelligence and ensure that digital marketing activity is accurately represented in Worldpay reporting dashboards and MI (management information)
  • Ensuring the US Digital team's telephony tracking technology is checked and optimised
  • Oversee improvements in conversion rates for all channels, from lead through to active customer
  • Assist with the migration to a full analytical attribution model
  • Liaise directly with Sales and Sales Leaders to ensure SLAs are agreed and adhered to
  • Liaise with Sales Enablement and Marketing Analytics to ensure business reports are accurate
  • Liaise with Underwriting to work on optimising the quality of leads
  • Liaise with the web team to ensure website forms are optimised for conversion and leads are routed to the correct sales area and line of business
  • Deputise for Digital Marketing Director in his absence

The Day-to-Day

Responsibilities:
  • Devise strategies to drive online traffic to the company website, for the purpose of lead generation

    Track conversion rates and make recommendations and improvements to increase CRO

    Develop and manage paid search campaigns

    Develop and manage digital display campaigns

    Develop campaigns involving remarketing, audiences and programmatic advertising

    Improving the usability, design, content and conversion of the company website

    Evaluating customer research, market conditions and competitor data.

    Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.

    Build out and own the US Digital Team's reporting with Marketing Analytics team and Sales Enablement -- ensure that stakeholders (both internal and external of team) are delivered accurate, actionable reports on a regular basis

    Working with the UK Team and Marketing Analytics to drive parity in reporting across the lines of business

    Managing the activity of two digital marketers -- SEM Manager and SEO Manager

    Dotted line relationships with Content Marketing Manager and Copywriter
  • Oversees strategic planning, development and coordination of all marketing communications programs to promote the sale of company products and further the company's sales objectives.
  • Consults with other areas of management or business units, sales departments and advertising agencies to leverage web marketing, trade show activity and direct marketing.
  • Manages the preparation of sales aids, controls advertising and public relations projects, and recommends the media best suited to sell specific products or services.
  • Interacts with vendors to produce promotional material.
  • Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
  • Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals.
  • Provides guidance to Marketing Program Managers within the latitude of established company policies.
  • Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization(s).
  • Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.
  • Follows processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Develops and administers schedules, performance requirements and may have budget responsibilities.
  • Manages the coordination of the activities of a section or department with responsibility for results, including costs, methods and staffing.

Qualifications:
  • More than 5 years' experience as a Digital Marketing Manager
  • Experience in a lead management role, ideally in the B2B sector
  • Experience of search engine marketing and SEM -- either client side, or agency side.
  • Experience of display campaigns
  • Experience of working with Google Analytics to a high level delivering actionable insights
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager
  • Experience using call tracking software & attribution tools is highly desired.
  • High level proficiency with Excel and Powerpoint
  • Google Analytics GAIQ qualification
  • Knowledge of CRO tools and techniques
  • Good communicator, able to impart ideas across written, presentation and verbal forms
  • Experience of working with development teams
  • Proven Management Skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in the payments and/or financial services sector
  • Experience in building relationships and working with external service providers
