This Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for customer acquisition, onboarding and engagement efforts, incl. search, display, paid social advertising and email marketing. He/She will be driving new customer quantity, quality, and ROI and existing customer LTV. This role will be reporting directly into VP of Growth and will expect tremendous learning and career growth.

Responsibilities

  • Build out freelancer onboarding and engagement journey via Email Marketing, SMS, and Live chats
  • Dive into email marketing campaign performance metrics to drive continuous improvements to KPIs
  • Execute freelancer acquisition (B2C) and client lead gen (B2B) campaigns across job board advertising, LinkedIn Ads, Google Adwords, Google Display Network, and other programmatic channels
  • Improve performance through continuous testing of keywords, creative, copy, landing pages, bidding strategies, etc
  • Work closely with growth team on pacing marketing spend and ROI, forecast, customer analytics, attribution tracking, while closely monitoring and reporting key metrics and develop immediate action plans to optimize campaign performance
  • Plan email optimization A/B testing roadmap and lead the implementation from pre-test analysis, to test design, to execution, to statistical measurement and post-test analysis
  • Work closely with Product and UX team on user signup flow and landing page optimization to improve conversion and better freelancer and client experience
  • Work with marketing analyst to drive customer segmentation and customer analytics
  • Closely watch the competitive landscape and best practices and proactively react to market actions and customer needs by improving plans and operational activities

Qualifications

  • Education requirements:
    • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Economics, Mathematics, or Business-related fields
  • Technical Skills:
    • 5+ years of experience, with a track record of building and scaling digital marketing or user acquisition and engagement programs
    • Deep understanding in email campaign set up and sending process; Working knowledge of email sending system and marketing automation platform is required
    • Strong analytical skills; ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations
    • Working experience in SQL and proven experience working with database is a plus
    • Expertise in creating/driving quantifiable metrics/KPIs and leverage consumer data to find quality customers to acquire, engage, retain and reactivate through various marketing channels
    • A lean, data-driven mentality and a strong bias for A/B testing and experimentation
