Location: Sunnyvale, California

For this assignment, the Worldwide Marketing Communications group at Aquent's client is seeking someone to contribute to their 3D and Visual Merchandising team. This individual will be responsible for designing story-telling moments and creating interactive experiences within client's Retail and Channel doors. This role requires working closely with Brand teams, Retail and Channel, Product Merchandising, Tech Services, and Product Development teams.

Key Qualifications: Cross functional 2D/3D retail design AD with skills in these creative fields.
  • Graphic Design and Ad Campaigns: Design background using the core illustration tools. Visual skills to implement an existing campaign to extend to different retail medias and its declensions to original retail projects.
  • 3D Design: good knowledge of space volume, good 3D design culture with a strong talent to designing-store retail installations from store windows to any other kind of store experiences.
  • Visual Merchandising: a good knowledge of the product display and it's environment of expression.
  • Strong interior and product design culture, contemporary Art, scenography, museography, creative displays and new retail spaces sensibility is a big plus.

Hard Skills:
  • Graphic Design: Graphic Design and Ad campaign experience across full media-mix. Visual skills to extend campaign concept within a 3D physical environment. Expert knowledge of core illustration tools
  • Product Design: Extensive product design and manufacturing experience specifically in the soft goods and apparel space
  • Experience Design: Leadership and hands-on experience with exhibition and installation design.
  • Design Aggregator: Team player that collaborated and aggregate across the organization to design retail experiences that attract, engage, and connect consumers across a mix media of 2D/3D/Interactive solutions.
  • Interior & Product Design: Immersed in design culture, contemporary Art, scenography, museography, creative displays and new retail spaces and sensibility a big plus.

Soft Skills:
  • Strong comfort level and flexibility for client's iterative design process
  • A deep appreciation for simple solutions to complex problems
  • A passion for and exceptional eye for detail
  • Outstanding project management skills
  • Able to work within tight time frames

Education:

BA + Master in Graphic / Media Arts with a minimum of 3-5 years experience working in creative /R&D global brand departments.
