Your Role:
Our enterprise tools are used by operators and service providers, over store managers and operators, to retailers and manufacturers. Their daily tasks include account management, inventory diagnostics, and merchandising capabilities, order management, performance improvement and fulfillment of orders shoppers place through us. Your work directly impacts their ability to do their job more efficiently. We believe that every touchpoint, whether it be explicit in our customer-facing features or in our operational features, that saves time or brings a moment of delight has the ability to shape the overall experience. We are looking for a creative, passionate designers who enjoy problem solving, product excellence, and sweating the details. You'll be responsible for driving your own projects/products end-to-end and managing your own time within an environment of openness and collaboration.

Your primary partners include engineers and project managers, as well as fellow designers, content strategists and internal operations folks.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
  • Develop and iterate flows, storyboards, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate and evaluate design directions, interaction, and design ideas
  • Work with product managers, engineers, and operations folks on a daily basis to delivery these requests, and rapidly test and iterate on designs based on feedback from users and stakeholders
  • Bring a professional, user-centered mindset to the table, by advocating for the user with a smile and dedication

Other Responsibilities:
  • Define user-centric conceptual models, user journeys, and information architectures
  • Craft visual designs and tangible user interfaces for our operations products and features
  • Advocate and communicate metrics-driven, user-centered design and research principles and directions to cross-functional teams and leadership
  • Keep consistency and and a cohesive experience across all enterprise tools and apps in mind when crafting your designs
  • Work with Engineering team to ensure designs are implemented to spec and collaborate with them to come up with creative design solutions when technical challenges arise
  • Partner with other designers to refine design systems and integrate new features into our evolving brand

Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven track record of designing and shipping successful software enterprise product design experiences for multiple device types and contexts
- Demonstrated experience in designing usable web-based and/or native mobile interfaces
- Communication and teamwork skills: Experience collaborating with user researchers, content strategists, product managers, engineers, and fellow designers
- BA/BS degree in Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent practical experience and 5+ years experience as an Interaction Designer

- Core interaction design skills, knowledge of the user-centered design methodologies, and a good understanding of usability, research and Design Thinking Empathy for the user and Design Thinking methodologies that balance UX with business needs Icing on the cake

- MA/MS in Design or a related field or 5+ years of relevant work experience, including demonstrated experience designing usable web-based interfaces
- Evidence of strong visual and interaction design skills

- Knowledge of HTML/JavaScript Logistics or e-commerce experience is a plus

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
