About This Role:

As Social Media and Content Writer at this forward-thinking client, you will support content publishing across all social media channels including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube. This role will work collaboratively with partners across the organization to promote their communication goals while maintaining and aligning with brand standards and messaging.

What You Will Do:
  • Write, edit, schedule, monitor social media content and social media channels for engagement opportunities, ensure community health and growth, create social activations around events, develop social images and video and coordinate social media activities on behalf of the Digital Strategy Team
  • Attend events to get photography and video and create content for social media; create, crop and edit social media photos and videos
  • Be responsible for social media request inbox; respond to requests quickly and suggest approach, draft social posts and follow through to publishing
  • Obtain and track business approvals for social media content
  • Plan and present weekly social media content calendar; incorporate content from other sources, e.g. corporate communications calendar and the digital strategy production plan
  • Ensure social media content is tagged properly
  • Regularly report on social media content performance and social media KPIs

What You Need To Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree and related professional experience in social media
  • Experience with Photoshop, experience with Sprinklr and Simply Measured a plus
  • Strong attention to detail required; must be able to multitask in a team environment and be organized and have the ability to handle the pressure of meeting tight deadlines
  • Project Management experience a plus
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, metrics and tracking
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Copy editing and web publishing experience
