ASKO, Inc. is seeking a Sales & Marketing Assistant to assist the VP, Sales and Customer Service and the outside sales team.


The Sales & Marketing Assistant assists the sales team by developing, implementing, and maintaining sales management reports, email marketing campaigns, internal and external presentations, sales literature, sales promotional items. This position is also responsible for customer follow up and coordinating ASKO's trade show participation.

The Sales & Marketing Assistant collaborates with ASKO's VP, Sales and Customer Service, Sales Directors, Sales Engineers, and Inside Sales Manager to understand and support the sales team's needs. The execution of theSales & Marketing Assistant's daily activities will result in the ASKO's sales team having Real Time information and tools available to support the corporate sales objectives.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Maintain sales data using ASKO's IT systems, manipulate sales data and develop, implement, and maintain sales management reports

  • Prepare presentations and documents to facilitate ASKO sales team meetings.

  • Develop and implement sales management tools in support of sales management process.

  • Develop and implement email marketing and advertising campaigns.

  • Maintain inventory of ASKO sales literature and promotional items.

  • Coordinate ASKO trade show participation.

  • Collaborate with ASKO IT Manager to maintain content on ASKO website.

  • Maintain customer data, product lists and price lists.

  • Contact customers to obtain customer appointments.

  • Perform customer follow up to support lead generation, order acquisition, and customer support.

  • Arrange shipments of sales literature, trade show items, and other related items.

  • Assist VP, Sales and Customer Service and perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • College degree preferred

  • A positive attitude and an ability to work with a sense of urgency

  • Desire to seek a deep understanding of assigned tasks

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong user of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Strong user of Syteline, ERP/MRP, Order Entry, or Purchasing systems

  • Excellent organization and communication skills

  • Ability to execute multiple assignments in parallel

  • Ability to work as part of a team to maximize customer satisfaction
