Ad Age is is seeking a Sales Coordinator to work in their client partnerships department. This position will be reporting to the General Manager of Revenue & Client Partnerships and will be based in the New York office of Ad Age.
As a part of the client partnerships department Sales Coordinator the will provide day to day sales and client services support to the sales team which is comprised of five (5) people, as well as provide additional support where needed to the GM.
This position provides the opportunity to gain experience working in a fast paced, consultative sales environment. - Running internal systems reports as requested
- Placing weekly orders for print magazine special shipments
- Assisting reps wherever needed in their communication with internal billing to resolve billing issues
- Media kit assembly and call-prep for reps
- Pulling competitive tear-sheets as needed
- Execution of client mailings
- Fielding urgent calls/requests when reps are out on travel
- Collaboration on crafting digital proposal media plans and filling out RFP excel grids
- Pulling together of sales collateral on behalf of clients as needed
- Updating and maintaining accuracy of shared drive Fielding group subscriptions on behalf of membership
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of either sales or marketing experience, preferably within the media/publishing field
- Fluency on both PC & Mac devices
- Effective communication skills
- Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task on multiple projects simultaneously, work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced working environment
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office and Salesforce
- Bachelor degree in Marketing/Communications
