Real-Time Graphics Programmer sought by NBCUniversal Media, LLC for New York, New York office to contribute to the creation of software applications, plugins and database systems for Real-Time systems for the News Organization. Lead in the creation of the programming pipeline for applications, plugins, and backend database servers. Heavily involved with elections, from handling the election results data and integrating it with Real-Time systems, to the development of front-end user control applications. Assist engineering in troubleshooting system issues, including critical on-air glitches, database server issues and control room support. Build custom software applications that will control Real-Time graphics systems such as Vizrt, ORAD, Chyron, etc. Create custom plugins that can be integrated with Real-Time graphic systems and be used for data parsing. Create database architecture that can store data for Markets, Weather, Election Results, Social Media, etc. Work with Real-Time Graphic Artists on projects for on-air, interactive, data visualizations, virtual sets and augmented reality. Help create control room workflows for the operation of Real-Time graphic systems and their integration with the front-end applications and databases. Related Bachelor's degree, or foreign degree equivalent, and 5 years of experience in job offered or 5 years of experience working on projects for television broadcasting required. All stated experience must include the following: programming experience in C/C++, C# .NET, HTML, Angular, SQL, JavaScript, and ASP; working with SQL, Oracle, and Mongo Databases; working with Real-Time graphic systems, such as Vizrt, Chyron, Orad, or Unreal Engine 4.
