Digital Marketing Specialist

LOCATION
Richmond, VA

POSITION SUMMARY
The Digital Marketing Specialist will be a part of Genworth s US Life Insurance business and is responsible for developing and executing marketing initiatives and digital campaigns for our direct to consumer experience across multiple products. The ideal candidate will have digital marketing experience including lead acquisition, SEO and Paid Search. The candidate should be a self-starter, creative, collaborative and analytical.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Under supervision, lead and set up successful tracking, delivery, and reporting of multi-channel direct response programs
  • Conduct tests and data driven analysis that provide insights and new strategies for increasing acquisition results and cost reduction.
  • Tests will include consumer response to proposed positioning and messaging, digital marketing tests to validate that we can reach the target consumer and that they will respond. Tests will be completed across a wide array of media including lead generation, email, social, SEO, PPC, etc.
  • Provide input into website design and user experience.
  • Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends in the industry.
  • Assist in the management of marketing plans and budgets.
  • Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges.
  • Produce regular reports to monitor results and suggested next steps to optimize ROI.
  • Presents findings and makes recommendation to leadership and team members.
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively.
  • Participates in internal and external vendor and partner management to coordinate development and execute on their behalf
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • BS or BA in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in digital campaign reporting preferably Google Analytics and/or Adobe
  • Have knowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques and concepts
  • Experience creating, analyzing and delivering sales funnel performance reports
  • Must have an aptitude for critical thinking and problem resolution and outstanding communication skills
  • Strong relationship building skills and experience working with colleagues and partners at all levels
  • Ability to take initiative to create and improve processes
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proven skills in data management and data extraction, ideally large data sets
  • SEO and Paid Search experience
  • Direct marketing/lead generation analysis
  • Tableau or other visualization tools
