Under limited supervision, manage the product lifecycle of existing products in assigned categories to align with company strategies. Translate new technologies and/or current trends into new unique product concepts that align with business strategies. Leverage a strategic balance and pace of product initiatives to achieve high consumer and distributor relevance and appeal in your assigned categories, leading to improved brand stature and sustainable actives, revenue and earnings growth. Influence co-workers and support management as it relates to a particular brand. Communicate with internal and external sources relevant to Product Marketing. Perform other duties as assigned.

Principal Tasks & Outcomes: Expected Outcomes Activities Effectively manage the product lifecycle to ensure success of existing products in assigned categories and align with company strategies.
Develop business plans (positioning, naming, branding and pricing)

Participate in and contribute to the annual portfolio planning process

Create strategy and concept proposals
Leverage a strategic balance and pace of new product initiatives to achieve high consumer and distributor relevance and appeal in your assigned categories, leading to improved brand stature and sustainable actives, revenue and earnings growth.
Develop business plans (positioning, naming, branding and pricing)

Create strategy and concept proposals

Identify and recommend new technologies and/or current trends that could translate into unique product concepts that align with business strategies

Support management's review, approval and alignment across the organization
General understanding of the products, product categories and industry.

Analyze portfolio performance on an ongoing basis in order to identify and recommend product development opportunities to incorporate in product and category roadmaps

Lead the annual brand review for your category which includes sales analysis, opportunity identification, competitive insights and category trends

Build trust & rapport in a cross functional team.

Work with key cross functional business partners and outside vendors to manage all new initiatives from idea generation to full execution

Partner with Brand Marketing, Research & Development, Supply Chain, Legal and Regulatory to drive business objectives for each product initiative

Communicate with internal and external sources relevant to Product Marketing
