Assistant/Associate Professor of the Practice
The William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of Kansas seeks an accomplished professional to teach courses mainly in all facets of media planning, buying and tracking – including digital and social media – starting in Fall 2018 or Spring 2019. The successful candidate will have a master’s degree in journalism, mass communication, or a closely related field such as advertising or public relations, and bring energy and knowledge of the best current professional practices. Teaching experience at the university level is highly preferred. The ability to develop and teach online courses and certificate programs is a plus. The chosen candidate will receive a renewable appointment as an assistant or associate professor of the practice.
