Communications Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated creative individual to take on the role of Communications Specialist. This is a part-time, temp-to-hire opportunity currently located in Ramsey, NJ. The ideal candidate will work diligently to support a number of key PR and Corporate Communications managers and staff to handle a range of business reporting and communication tasks.

Communications Specialist Responsibilities:

Proofreading and uploading approved content for internal and external needs including blog posts, marketing collateral, newsletters, marketing bulletins, PowerPoints, etc.
Uploading and setting up distribution of press releases
Creating, organizing and managing spreadsheets for special events and projects
Working with Wordpress to upload content for blog posts
Creating and maintaining customer success profiles and other ad copy
Writing posts and/or newsletter articles

Communications Specialist Requirements:

2-4 years of relevant experience in administrative/communications support

Experience with writing, creating copy, and editing
Ability to work independently with little supervision
Ability to create detailed reports on any given project
Proficiency in Google Drive and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
