Designer

Landor is seeking a designer to explore and conceptualize design options and solutions that maintain Landor’s vision and creative beliefs– “great ideas expertly and beautifully crafted and delivered with rigor and flair.” The designer will work in conjunction with creative directors, design directors or senior designers, with opportunity to participate in all phases of design, the design process, and push to find “big ideas” for all projects. This position will be located in the Cincinnati office.

Required skills

  • Love of design: must have passion for creative excellence, branding, packaging and visual communication. 
  • Excellent and current creative and design trend knowledge and skills (from branding identity and package design, digital, to time-based media)
  • Strong in conceptual thinking and design development
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of graphic design and digital media
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Can work well within large teams and independently
  • Participate and contribute in design critiques

Required experience

The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of experience working in design environments and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design. Must have a passion for design. Must be an excellent communicator. Must have outstanding technical skills with Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with new media technology/software is a plus. Must be capable of collaborating confidently with team members and have a passion for cracking tough strategic and design problems. Evidence of creative solutions that supports project goals.
