We are seeking for a Director of Business Development who's looking for an opportunity to make impact on a young company. This position requires strong lead gen/closer capability, along with the ability to translate strategy into something specific; measuring goals, make clear plans, use the resources properly, and take precautions to avoid any obstacles ahead. Reporting directly to the CEO, Director of Business Development will be responsible for new lead development, sales and working with the product team to ensure the design & delivery of the product best fitted for each client.

Responsiblities

  • Identifying new sales leads
    • Researching organizations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets
    • Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing
    • Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
    • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
    • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
  • Pitching products and services / Closing
    • Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays
    • Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products
    • Developing strategy and proposals
    • Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person
  • Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers
  • Qualifications
    • 3+ years experience in marketing/ad agency, expertise in video campaigns a big plus
    • Experience selling to small to mid-size businesses at minimum $3M+ revenue
    • Deep understanding of current trend in video marketing
    • Self-Starter and a strategic thinker
    • Advanced degree preferred
