This position will be responsible for overseeing the creative development process through to final deliverable, while managing and mentoring a team of graphic designers and external creative partners. The manager must be skilled in design across multiple platforms including digital, print, outdoor, and video. The manager will work enterprise wide to identify and implement appropriate campaign strategies for internal business partners and must maintain a deep knowledge of AltaMed's visual identity system and style.

Manager leads brainstorming sessions and works collaboratively with teams across the organization on the creation of materials that target both prospective and current patients. The manager will prepare status reports on brand efforts and must be familiar with standard brand and marketing concepts, practices, and procedures within the field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision of director.


  1. Partner with Director on strategy, design direction, concept execution of brand and marketing campaigns for all lines of business including research and analysis to reinforce orgainzation's overall branding and designed image.

  2. Work closely with teams enterprise wide to develop effective creative tools within budget. Review and clarify client production requests, working with creative team to suggest best production options and potential alternatives, requesting bids, selecting vendors in line with budget, ensure outgoing files meet vendor specifications.

  3. Manage the creative team in day-to-day activities including, conceptualization, project management, creative development, cross-functional implementation, video and digital production, campaign tracking and reporting as necessary.

  4. Manage brand review process to ensure alignment across all areas of the Organization on Brand Standards and Expression

  5. Maintain campaign records.

  6. Leverage consumer insights to leverage brand positioning for campaigns.

  7. Support and champion evolution of department related work processes and improvements.

  8. Campion the brand throughout the organization, with partners and external agencies.

  9. Stay ahead of creative trends and industry creative benchmarks; train team on latest trends

  10. Work collaboratively and effectively with other management staff and lines of business to achieve corporate goals.

  11. Participate in programs and organization activities.

  12. Perform other related duties as assigned.


  1. Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related business field coupled with a minimum of 5- 7 years of previous marketing and design experience required.

  2. 5+ years of managerial experience

  3. Bilingual - English/Spanish

  4. Health care background preferred.
