Job Requirements & Description:

  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in biddable media buying/planning, including at least 2 years of hands-on-keyboard experience with a bid management platform and at least 5 years’ relevant experience in a digital agency environment managing programmatic display programs
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communication, Business or related field  
  • Oversee the strategic planning, management, and execution of programmatic display strategies and tactics that drive measurable results
  • Manage execution of data strategy and usage of Data Management Platforms (DMP) for audience activation
  • Develop Programmatic Media Plans, research placements, execute media buys against the plan and provide reporting and analysis of plan performance to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitor campaign flights and performance trends to ensure adherence to budgets and alignment with client-directed objectives and KPIs
  • Leverage performance data to inform adjustments to creative, targeting and bidding to achieve client directed objectives and KPIs
  • Actively evaluate ad networks and inventory sources, as well as technology platforms and partners related to Programmatic Advertising
  • Provide strategy, learnings and optimization recommendations, both in written and verbal form, to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Manage relationships with vendors (PMPs, etc.) and third-party services related to Programmatic Advertising
  • Demonstrated ability to traffic through Adservers (i.e. DoubleClick preferred)
  • Ability to troubleshoot campaign performance and tracking issues, including QA’ing creative, URL parameters and site tagging
  • Highly knowledgeable of Display ad units, placements, and nuances, including mobile, video and native
  • Expert-level Excel and strong PowerPoint (PPT) skills  
  • Demonstrated project management ability
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task
  • Demonstrated proficiency in creative problem-solving
  • Demonstrated ability to write and communicate proficiently
  • Experience in execution of self-serve programmatic buying and leading a team of programmatic traders
