JOB SUMMARY: The Vice President of Sales & Marketing will provide leadership and coordination of sales and marketing functions. Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies, and benchmarks for the sales force to achieve; monitor and analyze sales and marketing activity against goals to meet or exceed overall budgeted occupancy for the communities. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 1. Comply with all applicable rules, policies, standards and guidelines related to employment with Westminster and its communities. 2. Supervises the staff which involves direct and indirect responsibilities for interviewing, selection, training, motivating, performance appraisal, managing policies and procedures to ensure achievement of the department's goals. 3. Direct and coordinate company sales and marketing functions. 4. Research and develop strategies and plans which identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing, and new project development. 5. Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results. 6. Review community sales and marketing budgets, and oversee the development and management of internal operating budgets. 7. Responsible for establishing sales goals and strategies for the sales team. Oversee the team's overall performance against sales quota. 8. Develops annual marketing and communication action plans in support of organizational strategy and objectives. 9. Directs implementation and execution of marketing and sales policies and procedures. 10. Ensures marketing communications are coordinated, support marketing plan objectives and meet organizational expenditure requirements and sales targets. 11. Reviews and recommends pricing structures based on market research and competitor's analysis. 12. Provides leadership and support for the design, development and implementation of marketing plans. 13. Oversees and directs market research and competitor analysis to support communities and organizational budget process. 14. Develops, defines, extends, and maintains the brand of the organization and individual communities. 15. Ensures each community has a suitable market position based on demographic, geographic, and competitive factors. 16. Develop and implement annual sales plan by community in support of organizational strategy and objectives. 17. Work requires willingness to for extensive travel (40+ %), and work a flexible schedule.
