Produce aesthetically pleasing, as well as effective marketing graphics for Nu Skin's Latin America Market. Responsible for all aspects of assigned projects from initiation to completion.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  1. Proficieny
  2. Extensive working knowledge of and an ability to train: InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, other software that relates to design is also helpful
  3. In-depth knowledge of Mac Computers
  4. Good interpretation of design principles and elements such as balance, typography, color, and paper. As well as good knowledge of the printing process.
  5. Ability to style and art direct photography and illustrations
  6. Experience in Project management
  7. Experience as a supervisor preferred
  8. Ability to maintain positive attitude and seek to build cohesiveness within the design group.
  9. Ability to organize and complete many different tasks and to meet tight deadlines.
  10. Ability to give and take direction in a constructive way.
  11. Ability to interpret design specifications with accuracy and attention to detail.
  12. Demonstrate good design sensibility.
  13. Ability to efficiently use company time and resources.

Principal Tasks & Outcomes: Activities
  1. Design publications, product packaging, collateral, and other promotional materials
  2. Responsible for consistent implementation of design standards as specified.
  3. Assist in layout, and production of designs, publications, product packaging, collateral, and other promotional materials
  4. Prepare designs for production
  5. Responsible for accurate, timely, and efficient job production within the group
  6. Provide leadership, direction, training, and support to the Production Designers
  7. Recommend changes in policies and procedures to improve performance and customer satisfaction
  8. Direct photo shoots (product, models)
  9. Follow projects through production
  10. Approve all blue-lines and/or match-prints before they go to vendors
  11. Perform press checks when necessary
  12. Assist other Designers and Management when necessary in maintaining design standards
  13. Superior ability to work in a creative team environment
  14. Work cooperatively with supervisor, managers, account reps, writers, designers, other production designers, digital imaging personnel, print buyers, and vendors
  15. Promote good customer relations through a positive, service-oriented attitude and effective negotiation
  16. Assume full responsibility in a lead designer role
  17. Assume a more extensive role in assisting Management with art direction as needed
