Job Description

PwC's Marketing and Sales function is a client-centric, high-performing team that drives the Firm's priorities and long-term revenue growth by

passionately positioning PwC as a distinctive brand in the marketplace.

The role of Marketing is to develop and execute data-driven strategies to effectively and efficiently understand our customer's needs and interests to increase brand awareness and generate high margin demand. The team enables client serving professionals to meet their short and long-term goals by providing creative and innovative application of deep marketing expertise in areas such as digital, B2B, data analytics, program management, media (including social), thought leadership, and brand.

The Line Of Service marketing team will focus on the marketing and sales of one specific PwC Line of Service (LOS): Advisory, Assurance, Private Company Services, Risk Assurance, or Tax.

The

LOS marketing team delivers marketing strategy and programs that pave way for client teams and sales to build new client relationships, create new opportunities for growth and build the PwC brand in the market segments.

Interaction with other LOS, sectors and geographies will also come into play.

Position/Program Requirements

Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 4

Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or GED

Degree Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field.

Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrated knowledge of strategies and programs developed to drive business objectives and provide the overall direction for marketing and sales support activities. Demonstrated understanding of competitive positioning leveraged to contribute to the development of messaging, marketing strategies, and proposals. Experience in how to use the targeting process to help practice build a pipeline of new opportunities including sales/marketing collateral and responses to RFPs and RFIs. Demonstrated knowledge of current services and solutions, as well as awareness of changes in the business environment and how these changes affect both current and new market opportunities. Basic understanding of key business issues our clients are facing and aligns our go-to-market strategy and point-of-view(s) around those issues.

Skills Preferred:

Ability to drive consistent and relevant idea flow to the markets/accounts and effectively facilitate client touch points. Experience in supporting the sales process and using customer relationship management skills and technology. Experience in leveraging writing and verbal communication skills in order to translate complex concepts into easy to understand and compelling messaging. Ability to measure and track results of marketing programs and report on Return On Investment ROI. Experience in discussing and explaining current and emerging products and services, as well as promote new ideas and services broadly throughout assigned line of service through road shows, solution roll-out calls, etc. Ability to manage multiple complex marketing programs or sales support projects in one or more business areas. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage accelerating changes as required in a dynamic market and organization. Proven project management skills. Ability to support and sometimes lead the development of marketing tactics across a wide variety of functional areas of marketing. Ability to work independently to resolve issues, coordinating with leadership or subject matter experts when necessary. Ability to manage on-going marketing strategy and drives change by collaborating with other marketing and sales professionals. Ability to manage performance and development of staff through coaching. Business development and sales experience desired.
